Teenager are more prone to see and do what they hear and see in music and music video because they are at a point
in their lives where conformity and finding themselves is a major pressure.they want to fit in somewhere negative and positive
Music is hella important to most teens I know because basically when going through a rough time, they can't find an outlet so their escape is music. Without music they would probably go mad insane make situations bigger than they are, but with music they are able to listen to their favorite artists feel chilled and relax.
like listening to music to relax and also to pass the time while on public transport. also, music has a really strong sort of emotional thing for me, i get very attached to certain bands or artists, this leads me to find out more about these people and what their music is about, it makes me feel like i'm connecting with some guy in his mid 20's to early 30's who will never know i exist and could probably beat the crap out of me if he wanted through the lyrics he write, or the way he sings, or something stupid like listening to my favourite song on repeat on his birthday.
Why music important for teenager?
Music is a way of finding release from everyday life, and the people in it. It is one of the few things that people truly connect with, and find meaning in. Listening to music without lyrics can be helpful when you're studying, although this is obviously a personal preference. iPods are important to teenagers because they contain the music!
